About MileCards.com The founder of MileCards.com is a frequent flyer who got frustrated with the lack of trustworthy recommendations for picking a travel reward card. Blitzed with bonus mile offers and ads, it was hard to tell what cards were best for the long run, after you've used up the one-time incentives. The recommendations started with a spreadsheet...looking for a way to compare cards head to head on an ongoing basis. That spreadsheet turned into a comparison chart, which led to the idea of putting it all on a site for people to view and edit. The information from that, and the input of some frequent flyers led to some advice, and a hard stand on what the best cards are for your money. We offer straight, no nonsense recommendations on our Editors' Choice page, as well as more detailed options in our Tips and Features pages for people who want to maximize their award power. We don't work for the credit card companies or any of the travel providers, but we are major consumers of their products. This is not a full time endeavor...which is why we can't take specific questions from flyers wanting advice by email.
